or 70s fighters who were still okay in the early 80s (stars for each one he beats):

    Joe Frazier*
    Jimmy Young*
    Ken Norton*
    Earnie Shavers*
    John Tate*
    Ossie Ocasio*
    Trevor Berbick*
    Larry Holmes II*
    Michael Dokes*
    James Tillis II*
    Mike Weaver*
    Randall Cobb*
    Buster Douglas*
    Gerrie Coetzee*
    Tyrell Biggs*
    Mike Tyson
    Marvis Frazier*
    Jesse Ferguson*
    Johnny Du Plooy*
    Tony Tucker
    Leon Spinks*
    Evander Holyfield
    James Smith III*

Just realized how stupid it was to put stars next to each one he beat. I've always thought that fights with Berbick and Weaver would have been the most entertaining.

Very surprised. A lot of these outcomes make absolutely no sense to me.

I don't think Norton could beat a prime Spoon, some real good matchups there

Witherspoon was hot and cold. Against good men, He never could win three good fights in a row. Two fights in he loses to the first guy.
