    Mike doesn't want this.

No desire to fight in his heart,

mentally, just starting to approach something resembling an even keel after decades of struggle.

If it happens, it'll be because he was railroaded into it.

And if Holyfield wants it, he's an embarrassment to his profession. No payday is worth partaking in a sorry, unconscionable circus like this.

Time for these two guys to start finding other ways to make money.

Half of Tyson's brain is already missing due to decades of hard drug abuse; the other half will be knocked of in sparring, so he might be the first boxer climbing in the ring with no brains at all.

It cracks me up that former millionaires like Tyson, Bowe and Holyfield have to keep on fighting and tarninishing what little legacy they have left, in order to keep up with the bills. Don't these people know the meaning of a savings account and living within their means? Pathetic.

Huge mistake, but mike still loves money no matter what he says and i'm sure he's figuring he could still sell a couple of fights. wish he wouldn't but then again, appearing on "Raw" and doing foreign "dancing with the stars' shows is probably even more embarassing then trying to sell a meaningless holyfield fight.

unlike other posters, i think most of tyson's 'marbles' are relatively intact and his legacy is set (even if people forget for a while given another ill advised comeback) btw.

Seemes like a roumor of a Tyson comback pops up every 6 months or so. They all turn out to be false.

I don't think this happens, but Tyson could make big easy money without getting in the ring and screwing his legacy. Make more movies, write a book, anything but getting in the ring.

I will not be surprised if somebody here in ESB would root for him to become undisputed HW champ again.

I love mike, but this is a train wreck waiting to happen. Mikes star was back in the 80"s... thats 20 years ago guys...... 20 years ago!!!!!.

I hope it doesnt happen. Holy is in there simply because he needs cash...its just sad IMO

Of course good payday is worth it. It’s easy to moralize them with your double standard morality but I’m pretty sure you would accept 1 mil $ to participate in similar circus.

If they can make money this way, who are you to judge them?

Yeah you're right, people will pay to see this guy fight. Bernard Hopkins isn't helping this situation either. Everybody thinks they can be B-Hop but the difference is that Hopkins is a bona fide gym rat so he'll be a competent, competitive fighter until 60 if he wants to.

I think Evander is way past caring about that kind of thing.

I have to admit, I did see Mike on that episode of WWE Raw in January (I think it was) and I was surprised to see him looking a lot slimmer and trimmer than before. I'd seen him around nightclubs looking 300+ easy, but he really looked a lot closer to fighting shape on that show.

So I guess this is something that could've been seen coming.

But I'd still much rather he didn't do it.

That must be reported at least ten times a year. I hope it stops when Tyson is 50+ and also hope fans don't believe this nonsense.
