The question raised in my post that you quoted was : Who is world class if Fury and Wilder are not and you didn't offer a single name. Who are these world class heavyweights ahead of Fury and Wilder?
That must be a big list you are compiling there @BubblesUK, or are you struggling for names? It's simple enough, you are supporting the argument Fury and Wilder are not world class heavyweights. But by definition, others have to be. So who are these mystery men?
I was pretty clear that I do consider Fury world class - it's possible he's not anymore, but for now I'd assume he is. Wilder on the other hand it's debatable whether he ever was - there's not the resume there to justify saying he is, and he's been inactive on top of that... I'd assume not, if anything. Joshua has the best resume in the division, has only lost unavenged to arguably the GOAT cruiser. The Ruiz loss isn't good, but it was avenged comfortably and these things happen at heavyweight... Foot clearly off the gas, but as with Fury, past achievement gets him the benefit of the doubt. Usyk is arguably the best ever at cruiser, and left little doubt at heavy that he's serious by beating the most proven fighter in the division twice - he's world class. Beyond the three I wouldn't hesitate to put on there we're into the question marks - Wilder, Zhang, Hrgovic... One or more of these guys might be, but they need to achieve more before they get the benefit of the doubt in my book.
Gassiev has a shorter reach than Usyk and has never beaten a top 10 contender at heavyweight, he`s completely unproven at heavyweight.
