Meinke catches Tissen's left wrist and holds it close, swinging her around by it until the ref orders a break. Lots of clinching. Tissen bangs her way free with a left hook, backing Meinke up several paces. Meinke is running to her right, planting her feet momentarily to fire a 1-2. Tissen just keeps breathing down her neck, almost trapping her on the ropes. The ref calls time so the physician can look at Meinke's cut. He nods to continue, half a minute left in the penultimate round. Time in. Big rally by Meinke, standing in and pummeling the body of Tissen with uppercuts. Tissen walks her into the ropes with jabs, then plugs her with a right below the boobs and loops another into her face. Meinke holds.

Meinke is meeting Tissen in the middle of the ring. WILD action, both swinging haymakers. Meinke holds Tissen's head in the crook of her right elbow and bangs away on the body with left uppercuts, then shoves her all the way across the ring into the ropes. Tissen is marching her down, shelling up when close to block a right hook, then pumps away up top with some bombs, causing Meinke to flee. Big right hand by Tissen, blocked. Tissen eats a jab but doubles up on a big right hand, scoring it. Meinke fighting her heart out but needs to hold after throwing a couple of arm-weary counters. Tissen walks her into the ropes and CRACKS her with a left hook that nearly makes Meinke do a face-plant. Meinke goes down moments later, slip/push.
