Michael Magnesi vs. Noé Emanuel López de León, 12 rounds @ super featherweight

 

MM's tats are... interesting.

 

10-9 López, super close..landed the cleaner jabs, some combos and looping rights on the backfoot. Magnesi also scored well albeit with mostly single body shots.

 

10-9 Magnesi, close, slightly better engine and busier hands as they square up and go to work, both throwing uppercuts beneath the guard and teardrop shots over it.

19-19

 

29-28 Magnesi, willing his way to victory as they both frantically hook away in the pocket.

 

10-9 López, spent the first two minutes skewering Magnesi (who seems gassed) against the ropes with jabs & rights until Magnesi gains a second wind and spins his way clear, whereupon they swap body hooking flurries.

Good fight.

 

MM rocked at the end of the 7th.

 

Still a blistering pace now heading into the championship rounds.
