    Here's some "Money" quotes:

"Mayweather admits he is prone to contradicting himself, and it seems like he is doing it again. He says Pacquiao won't agree to blood testing while his advisors swear up and down they never sat down and talked about it. He says Pacquiao beats his leftovers but glosses over the fact that Juan Manuel Marquez had fought Pacquiao twice when Mayweather beat him."

"Someday, maybe before the end of this decade, Floyd Mayweather will make the cross-country trip to Canastota, N.Y. and be inducted into the boxing Hall of Fame. Leonard Ellerbe will be there. So will Al Haymon, Richard Schaefer and 50 other people with vague connections to the longtime champ. There will be a palpable buzz to Mayweather's arrival, for one of two reasons: Mayweather's one, two or three fights against Manny Pacquiao.
    Mayweather's refusal to face him."

If Mayweather has 3 fights against Pacquiao, then you can guarantee Pacquiao won the first 2

Maybe, but we may never know. The reason I put up this article is to illustrate an undeniable truth. Not that Floyd is wrong or that Pac is wrong, but that if they don't fight it'll be Floyd's legacy that will be hurt and not Pac's. Fair or not fair, that's how most of the world (or at least most who have more than a passing interest) will probably see it.

I disagree. Floyd was already being tooted as an ATG before Manny was even famous. Manny is awesome in many respects but when the experts and most compare who would be the betting favorite if they ever stepped in the ring, Floyd wins.
Manny fought many ATG's. Barrera, Morales, Hatton, Mosley, Oscar and Marquez. Floyd shares 4 of those 6 plus Corrales and Castillo.
They don't need each other...BOXING needs this fight.

Chris Mannix obviously likes to make up **** because he knows less about the Manny - Floyd negotiations than even the most casual of casual fans.

I've highlighted three names. These three names are not ATG's.

I think this is what I most dislike about ardent Floyd supporters. There is no problem at all with supporting a fighter, but do you really have to echo every word he says on every issue? Can you guys not like, I dunno, think for yourselves? "Legacy don't pay the bills". Seriously, why the **** should you guys be concerned with how much Floyd Mayweather Jr is earning? Boggles the mind!

Actually legacy does pay, if you're smart about it.

Might be right, but that might not matter in the end. Fair or not, history will not look kindly on Floyd if the fight doesn't happen. OTOH, people who remember this era in boxing may be much more forgiving of Pac if the fight doesn't get made.

Black loud mouth fighters always become beloved when they get older. HIstory will always recognize Floyd as an ATG top 25.

At best, some hardcore boxing historians might look at it that way. In light of all the positive press Pac gets as well as the negative press Floyd gets globally, I just don't believe Floyd will get the same pass Pac will likely get if the fight doesn't happen. Floyd fans will probably say that's not fair, but that might not matter.

Whether you believe it or not, Manny is going to be the one taking a hit when history looks back, especially his level of comp hitting 130
