Get your money on Taylor to win it next year like I said earlier in thread.

    What a joke...

1st place, a little guy who sits on a horse in a corrupt sport
2nd place, an obese man who throws bits of tungsten against a cork board a couple of metres away
3rd place, some fit piece who this year proved she was the best in Europe

This show has gone downhill since Calzaghe retired for sure.

May well be but she did not compete in the Beijing Olympics and only won the European Championships this year.

    Graeme McDowell

    Major winner
Ryder Cup winner (was the man to post the winning point)
    European Golfer of the year
Made up 5 shots in an amazing final round to win the Chevron
2 other tour wins this year

Amazing achievements in a stacked group of golfers.

I love darts. Can throw a few arrows myself and am holding tickets for the BDO champs early Jan, but come on, Phil Taylor the second best sportsman this country has?

You have had a go at HorseRacing, Darts and Athletics but you say a golfer should have won it.

I won't have a go at Golf because it is a sport at the end of the day like all the others.

McCoy won the Grand National this year, that's very popular so I can see the popularity there. But 2nd and 3rd places are a mystery to me.

Maybe Westwood and GMac split the golf vote.

I never once had a go at athletics. I think Ennis is great but she only (when I say only I don't mean this disrespectfully) won the Euro Championships..... WITHOUT Carolina Kluft. I respect her and her event an awful lot but undeserved over McDowell based on the last 12 months.

Call me a sentimental twat, but it brought a lump to my throat when Harry Carpenter appeared at the end of the tribute to those who had passed away.
