They can't seem to live down that Marquez (39 years old) knocked Pac to another dimension.

If Marquez fought Pac for a 5th time, he'd put Plankton to bed again imo.

Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao was hit with 1300 lb with force.

It's fact. Sports Science never lies!

What's the science behind Memo Heredia's undetectable PEDs that he brags about? He turned Marquez into a science project.

basic physics, speed & velocity, manny increased the power of the shot by diving straight into it head first!

Lets put Pac Floyd aside and discuss some things they were wrong about...

The "right hook" takes .1 seconds for marquez to throw. Wrong. There is a wind up involved in throwing this "right hook" (Notice its in quotes because whoever did the piece doesn't know what a right hook is, it was more of an overhand.) I have yet to see a punch that can be thrown from no tell to impact in less than .1 second. I have watched many fights with fast fighters (frame by frame) not even the fastest get below the .1 second threshold. Pac was poorly positioned and walked right into that punch lol.

Sports science is some of the most poorly conducted science I've ever seen lol.

I am sure the scientist behind the scenes did their job, but the announcers couldn't understand it and said it their own way.

In a punch, all that matters is transfer of momentum, which is conserved. Think of this as a car driving at 60 km an hour. When it crashes, you do not account for how long it took the car to get to that speed, you only care about the duration of the impact. What they should have said is, duration of the impact was only 0.1 of a second, and in that time, Marquez got to transfer all that pent up momentum, from his fist to Pac's head. The shorter the time, the more devastating the impact.

    Whoever says

"That punch would have knocked anyone out" clearly knows f*** all about boxing and knows nothing about chins.

Sports science is a good show. It's strange to me when watching that punch, besides Pacquiao hitting the canvas, the power of the punch itself didn't look all that damaging. It seemed like it had more to do with the placement of the punch (on the chin) and Pacquiao's own momentum from jumping in, that caused the punch to be much more devastating. And to those who still want to call it a lucky punch remember, he caught Pacquiao with a similar punch earlier in the fight.

That makes sense. They really didn't portray that though. They made it sound like it took .1 seconds for marquez to wind up/throw punch and hit pac on the face. Most high level pros take about .15-.2 seconds to throw a punch like that.(Even the fast ones)
