    Funny guy.
When was all this "body work by Froch" ?

Seriously, I dont think Dirrell is tough enough at all to cope with all that body work. But he didn't have to. It just didn't happen.

American track runners?:lol::lol: Was Dirrell running when he nearly knocked Froch out in the 10th? Or was pounding on him with beautiful punches in the 11th and 12th?

Maybe you'd like him to fight more like Katsidis and look like a **** victim after every fight? This is boxing. Not backyard wrestling clown.

In between the run and holding Dirrell was carving Froch up with combos. I guess you would have to ignore the several times Dirrell did it to give the fight to Froch.

Most of the Froch fans convinced themselves who won before they even stepped in the ring.. Thats the problem..

Like BigRagu said - Dirrell did some beautiful stuff when he stopped runnign for a sec, but all the runnign and diving and hugging.... RJJ and FM are defensively good, but they both make sure they throw at the same time. Dirrell was satisfied with displying his great defensive skill for most of the fight. In rounds 11 and 12 he showed what he could have done...

Sure - he did hit Froch with 2, 3, 4 crisp and impressively looking shots in almost every round. In some rounds he threw like 10 beautiful shots and landed with 4. Froch threw 30 and landed with 5. This means that Dirrell evaded beautifully 24 punches...... Great stuff. However at the end of the day 5 is more than 4.

To me, there is little doubt that Dirrell would have won if he had actually tried. He was satisfied with trying to run and hope to steal the fight for 10 rounds.

Then when his corner told him that he needed a KO, he started boxing for real. And imo. he almost put on a masterclass in rounds 11 and 12... The question is why didn't he feel a need to be involved for the entire fight?

boxing is hitting an not getting hit.. which Dirrell did MUCH more effectively than Froch..

Dirrell obviously didnt want to tire himself out and did the job in the championship rounds. If you are gonna deduct Dirrell for holding you have to deduct Froch for grabbing and rabbit punching behind the head.

When Dirrell didnt hold he still outpointed Froch from the outside and constantyl caught him big coming in. Froch did virtually nothing. I'll rescore the fight again and see if im missing something that Froch fans saw. I gave him 4 rounds tops.

Exactly!! He did too little too late. Did anyone notice how hard he was breathing in the corner during the last 4 rounds? Long distance runners do that after they've had a long run. ;)

Sorry, he did enough against a fighter that did nothing.

The last 4 rounds were the best of the night. Funny that clown.
