Wasn't Chuck Wiggins known as a bit of a legend as a streetfighter?

Wiggins was said to be a street fighter par excellence ,as a boxer he later became something of a Big Boy Peterson,ie a body who could reliably be expected to ,"do his duty", in return for," being given the call".He became a client for the likes of Carnera,but when fighting for real he was a tough cookie to overcome.
