I got my first fight coming up in 6 weeks.

Its actually for thai boxing, having boxed for fun on and off for a few years at home. I'm now living in thailand , have trained for 3 months at Thai boxing and would like to get in the ring and test myself.

I know that its thai boxing but I'm figuring sprint training is the same routine. I just don't want to get gased out early on and killed!

Also is it a good idea to add calisthnetics (press ups / pull ups) into the session or just stick to sprints?

I've also been told to do no more than twice a week and give the sprints a rest 1 whole week before my fight. Does this sound right?

Any help would be appreciated , a bit nervous but up for the challenge!

Well I was always told to add five minutes to your cardio and those five extra minutes should be sprints.

Never been discourage from any type of strength training either.
