hi first time poster, ive been training for over a year now. ive been doing a lot of mid distance running, like 6km to 10 km 3 or 4 times a week. i want to start adding some sprints into my routine. twice a week. has anyone got any ideas or a routine they could help me out with. would appreciate any help.
Say ur training 4 a 4x2 go on treadmill and do 10min light jog as warm up,then set it 2 a pace where ur running fast and out ur comfort zone but u can last the 2 mins , do this 4 times with a min break in between, ur prob best starting with 2 and building up 2 4,once u get used 2 it u can add a bit of incline,always stay out of comfort zone wen doin the 2 mins and ul really feel benefits wen u hit the bags or spar.
