    hey just a quick question about doin squats at home, an sugestions on how 2 squat heavy weights with out a cage or spotter.

    ur going to have to be able to pick it up off of the ground. put it by ur toes, then lift it over ur head onto ur shoulders, do ur set, then put it back where it came from.

    Make a squat rack. Or do body weight squats.

    I don't have any weights, but every now and then when i train at home, i fill a holdall with big books and use that.

    Can do single leg squats, buy a used rack, make one if you know what your doing... Much safer, likely more effective than trying to clean the sort of heavy weight that would make a good squat weight.

    I assume you have weights?

    Dig yourself a hole and stand in that.
    Put barrels on either side, something high to put the bar on.

    If you REALLY want to squat :p

    You can do single leg squats.

    Use a comfortable weight and learn how to drop it properly.

    And I am assuming that you have some type of rack.

    Otherwise abandon the idea.
