Squats

    I do unweighted squats aswell. Front squats without weights too. By adding weight all you do is increase resistance overall size thickness and explosive power. The reason i do it without weights is because my knee`s have a tracking weakness from years of playing basketball and running track. By doing the squats im slowly conditioning my knee`s quads and glutes so that with time the imbalance will be gone and i can go back to wreaking havoc on the basketball court!!:p

    My advice on squats is not to listen to this guy's advice on squats.

    Of course. Squats are good for ALL athletes in ANY sport. Strong and well conditioned legs are the basis for all sports.

    Mike Tyson did PLENTY of sqauts. So did David Tua as did Holyfield. Good legs means a solig base for torque and power. Squats arent just for gaining mass. Its a great exercise that ensures your legs are in top shape.
