After getting TKO in round 8, Srisaket said to his team in the room that the ref. stoped the fight too early. He was still O.K. at that time and was still moving his head and body to avoid getting hit. Besides, the KD in round 7 was just a slippery. I didn't agree with him though. He just couldn't accept his TKO loss.

He was avoiding some shots but was getting hit solidly with quite a few. After Rodriguez had Sor Rungvisai's head bouncing around like a bobblehead in round seven the ref didn't need to see much more to end it.

That's a bad move, SSR. You're completely shot and while you've always been slow, you now have the slowest hands and feet in all of boxing.

I do believe the first knockdown was more the force of the punch knocked him off balance rather than the concussivness of the punch, but the ref was right to stop the fight in that 8th round

SSR looked like he could have gone a few more rounds and he was still fighting back and slipping some punches but he just didn’t have much to offer and was taking too much punishment. The stoppage was fine.
Would at least like to see him have a farewell victory. Guy is a legend and the best Thai fighter since Galaxy, Sahaprom, Payakaroon, and Chitalada.

He had nothing to offer at the end which I agreed with. If he can find a slow fighter willing to be a dance partner in close he could win a fight or two but what's the point?

Maybe he has that secret South Asian power that Nonito was hiding all along, and he'll come back with back2back wins over top prospects at 115.

Yeah...I agree. SSR is done but he seems not to know this. We just don't wanna see him getting hurt in the ring anymore. His family begged him to quit boxing but he refused to do so.

I mean, he can still make money, and could beat most guys at 115, just not the top few.

You know a lot of Thai legendary fighters. Among them, Galaxy finished his boxing career the best (19 - 0 for defending his world title). He's a true legend.

While the stoppage was not quite “Britt level”
He could have endured another knockdown ala Steve Smoger school of refs.

The stoppage came at just the right time. He was getting rocked and wasn't fighting back, and the bout was trending toward a severe beating. He has a great career and I'll hope he'll reconsider. He's not going to get any more big paydays in that division and will only absorb more punishment.

Honestly, I won't mind Sor Rungvisai fighting Cuadras one more time to even the score and to possibly get one more payday.

No need to ever retire in Thailand really, their best fighters pop in for the occasional four rounder against debutants. He's got five more years of that in him for sure.

That's still a good fight, not sure if there will be money to make it though
