    in the same exact situation I'm sure they would.

    don't try to over simplify it and act like Ortiz did no wrong and was stopping to tie his shoe and Floyd hit him or something

    The bottom line is that they didn't.

    Floyd did. It was a shitty thing to do, but it was legal and retribution for the blatant headbutt Ortiz threw. I'm not really sympathetic to Ortiz in this case, but to say that all the ATGs would have done it too is dumb.
