SRL is ok with 152 CW. he would have done it too

SRL was talking about his fight with Lalonde, not Hearns! The comparison was between SRL - Lalonde and Money May - Canelo.

Lalonde was a 175 Light Heavyweight. SRL was a 160 lb middleweight. they met in the middle. That's a 15 pound weight difference, and SRL had never fought at Light Heavyweight before! Mayweather holds a freakin belt at 154 and fought Cotto at the 154 limit. Not only that but FMJ stated himself that catch weights are meaningless and he wants his opponents to be at their best! If you can't see how different the situations are then I don't think I can help you.

 

It doesn't change the fact he fought Lalonde at 168, in his next fight fought Hearns at 164 catch weight. These are facts not sure what there is to really debate here.
