it looks like a younger mosely in there... Chavez did not look spirited in this sparring session not sure really what to make of it, maybe he was training and getting back into shape as is the case a lot of times in sparring. if so, why wuld he make it a public event. However, if they were to fight as pros, this sparring session shows that is would resemble the Meldrick taylor vs chavez fight alot with the exception that mosley would use alot more defense and movement. I think mosely would box his way to a UD to defeat chavez if they fought.
Whoa now, dont read too much into a sparring session with a faded, old, and out of shape Chavez dicking around with a young up and coming Mosely. The Chavez on this video is not the one who fought Taylor. That Chavez was a beast.
i don't disagree with you. but prime for prime. i have to go with mosley has he has more of skillset, and if chavez dont knock mosely out, mosely boxes to a decision.
Interesting video, SSM looks like got the best of JCC, but this was the 2nd opponent he face on this sparring session, and it is obvious to me that JCC was getting use to a fast pace boxer, while he address his body shots and counterwork downstairs......not much else happend for JCC .....this is the same way he fought Meldrick....
