    feel for st clair
I was at the club packed house 90% were stunned over the result
Dont degrade the great LIONEL ROSE by even comparing Kickett to him
Has plenty of pottential but ZAPPA would walk straight through him
get passed Gary st clair first.

Disagree, the scores were stupidly wide, but Kickett was tagging him cleanly all night, and St Clair was sloppy as. Landing minimal clean shots.

Kickett/St Clair bout could have gone either way in my opinion. I had Gairy taking it by a round or two, still Kickett did well considering it was his 11th pro fight. This kid took a chance and came out on top, well done.

    I think it was close.

And i dont think StClair was robbed hard at all. Me i thought seriuosly it could have gone either way.

But having said that this was a huge step up in just Kicketts 11th Pro Fight.

Me i would have been happy with Kickett by a point or StClair by a point or even a draw would have been fair i dont think StClair was robbed like your making out.

Hey us knowledgable boxing fans were saying that Kickett wasn't what he was been made out to be, he's not that good in reality.

i think that is very harsh as we just saw him perform well against StClair who for me is a talented journeyman and former IBF Champ.

And being his 11th Pro fight how many can say the beat a guy like StClair after only fighting 10 times before.

Give credit were credit was due what did you expect Kickett to KO StClair hell not even Khan could get close to KOing StClair.

Nah i don't expect Kickett to KO anyone, i really think he has no power from what i've seen. He's a good fighter but the point i've been trying to make is that he is not the future of Oz boxing as some people want him to be. He's no Mundine that's for sure.

He is 21 my god and he isnt Mundine.

AGAIN IT WAS HIS 11TH PRO FIGHT AND HE IS 4 YEARS AWAY FROM AT LEAST HAVING A TITLE SHOT.

    Kickett is 21

    Mundine is 32

So that means how good will Kickett be in say 11 more years of boxing.

Mate i dont know much but i know when i see a future World Champion.

He put in a respectable show, and no he isn't Choc.

I thought he showed some decent power tonight, St Clair was tough as fecking nails i thought, took plenty of big shots sweet.

I expect Kickett to get alot better than he is now.

    Only time will tell.

Mundine was KTFO in his 11th fight.

Ithink we will really see him in full flight in say about his 25th Pro fight.

Still along way to go but hey time is on Kicketts side. I thought he was good tonight he never got to nervous and he kept his Cool.

I guess thats why they gave him his name of Cool Willie Kickett. We have to remember he didnt have the Amatuer Career like say Tszyu or Fenech but he will with time i feel be very good.
