YOu say it doesn't make any sense for him to fight Alex coz he wants to have an overseas career?

It makes way more sense than fighting Calloway in Perth and some bum of the month in Blacktown..

Whipsy, from a business sense it doesnt mate. Whether Alexander, Calloway,Weida are better fighters or not is besides the point.

In the US, they are atleast known, have other contacts and then when talking with other promoters, opponents, people in general in the US, they now know Mark and can pass details on etc etc.

From a business point of view the Weida fight in particular was a disaster. Only 300 people turning up at St Marys was a terrible result. The previous promotion at St Marys, put on by the same promoter drew nearly twice as many people, and that was considered a failure. So 300 was abominable.

The 'crowds' were 300 for de Mori vs Weida and 500 for the previous promotion. Care to challenge the numbers?

You dont have to speak to him he has been telling anyone and everyone how bad it was and how much money he lost. Some other promotors even gave him some advice. Including not putting on **** fights with boxers with no following fighting stiffs!

    Weird.

Mark selling 10 tables for a fight ouside of his home state, more than held up his end of the bargain I would have thought?

Who else do you know that fights outside of their home state and can sell 10 tables for the promoter except for the top tier fighters?

The crowd for de Mori vs Weida at St Marys WAS only 300, and from the promoter's point of view it WAS a disaster.

His previous card at St Marys drew 500 and was disappointing, but 300 for de Mori vs Weida just plain disgraceful.

But who could blame people for not being willing to pay to see such a farce?

Would you have gone to Leapai v Weida 6 months earlier if everything else was equal?

I wonder if Deontay Wilder realizes only 300 people attended Mark de Mori most recent fight, against an international opponent. Held in Sydney, Australia's most populated city?

    No PPV either :-(

Half the people at the fight that night woulnt have ever heard of demori. Work it out take out the other fighters crowd on the night and you would be left with a handful of demoris fans..Maybe this is why he cant get fights. Promotors dont realy want him as he has no following.
