What are peoples thoughts on the STACKED UFC 194 card -

    Aldo - McGregor
    Weidman - Rockhold
    Romero - Jacare
    Maia - Gunnar Nelson
    Holloway - Stephens

Farkin great card this is. My picks at this stage-
    Aldo
    Weidman
    Gunnar Nelson
    Jacare
    Holloway.

The 2 main fights are very hard to pick. McGregor does look the real deal but Aldo is just so good. An all time great and whilst the stand up might be fairly equal I expect Aldo to have a good advantage should he take the fight to the ground.
Weidman and Rockhold are equally good both on the feet and on the ground. Both guys have sick BJJ. I favour Weidman but it's a coin toss really.
I really like Gunnar Nelson and think he beats Maia. Nelson looks a sensation on the ground to me and he is clearly a better striker than Maia. Maia is also about 37 yrs old now.

Can't wait for this card. Your thoughts Grasshoppers ?

A few years back I followed the UFC more closely (Chuck Liddell era) but last couple of years I dropped off with all this hoopla about women's MMA and that Rousey imposter.

In saying that I'm interested about this card, I think the two light heavyweights are very even and I'm going for upset picking Rockhold. As for the main event, I think Aldo will stop the loudmouth Irishman.

Maia/Nelson could be Sak/Newton II, IMO.

This is a great card, but the UFC should be putting cards on like this all the time with their roster!

Based on how horrific UFC cards have been in the last few years, this is a much better card.

I used to watch every fight on the prelims through to the main event. Not because I wanted to but because I had to. Every fight was relevant and decisive in the fighters journey/career. Now it's a bunch of nothing. Too many fighters, too many cards. UFC want all the fighters when they can never have them all. They need to accept that there will be feeder organisations.

Nevertheless, the two top fights are **** hot on this card.

Interested in Aldo-McGregor, especially with all the (entertaining) smack Conor talks. He's like the Tyson Fury of UFC.
