I'd say the brain is the most important aspect of boxing. With a great chin and stamina all you'll be doing is out working your opponent and wearing them down late for a possible TKO. Assuming you're not getting outboxed by the smarter fighter... In his own thread, 2nd post
I'd say adaptability. The fighters that are at the top all have this in common, the ability to adapt their styles to suit different fights, but also the ability to change their approach within a fight if it's not working. The reason I think Lara is overrated is because he sucks at adapting within fights.
Chin, Chin, Chin....look at Kirkland..insane conditioning still doesn't stop him from getting starched..with no chin, forget it...unless you're huge like Waldo and can hug and jab all fight long..
Adaptability, good shout. Kind of falls in line with my "brain" mention but adaptability is a great quality to have. :good
Basic fundamentals are the most important thing for a fighter to have. What good is a great chin if you throw punches like one of those kids you see on YouTube fighting in the street, granny slap windmills aren't gonna win you a world title even if you can take flush bombs from tyson.
The higher the weight class, the more important chin and stamina are. In the lower weight classes, the faster more skilled guy wins as they often don't hit hard enough our carry much weight to test their stamina.
