Louis and Schmeling could come at Takam at the same time and he'd demolish both in 1 round!

People rate Joe Louis as #1 or #2 at Heavyweight.

Takam just got demolished by Derrick chisora. David Haye annhilated Chisora. Wladmir manhandled Haye and won a wide UD. Anthony Joshua Koed Wlamir.

Therefore, Anthony Joshua is clearly the greatest HW of all time. He'd Ko all of Joe Louis' opponents at the same time with a mean glare at the press conference.

Once again, how r u placing all the blame on foreman when your own post points out that don king ignored foremans calls? You make less and less sense with each post. It was becoming common knowledge during the 90's how much of a scumbag Don King was.

The same Takam that couldn't even beat Mike Perez. Takam couldn't even couldn't even put a dent in Joshua or Povetkin and even lost to the very mediocre Parker.

Tony Galento regularly knocked out better and more experienced fighters than Takam.

Looks like reading comprehension is a problem here.

    RE-READ THE POST!

He ignored Foreman's calls AFTER HE LOST TO ALI in Kinshasa in 1974. Foreman was apparently still bitter about it almost 2 decades later.

I dont lack reading comprehension. Its becoming increasingly obvious ive done more research on these issues than you have.

Frazier lost to Foreman and then poof, king abandoned him for Foreman. Foreman lost to Ali and poof, King abandons him. Does that sound like a good business partner to u? Everyone hates him, just look up what happened to Tim witherspoon.

Of course Foreman was bitter. Bob arum didnt ignore pacuiaos calls after he lost. Eddie Hearn didnt abandon kell brook after he lost to Golovkin. King isnt just scum, hes proud to be scum and laughs whrn people points it out. Mind u, im not trying to act lioe arum or hearn are saints or anything but if youre a good fighter you'll at least still have a job with them. King not only discards u like trash, he scams u and rips u off even when youre with him.

Don King didn't promote Joe Frazier. Don King wasn't even a promoter in 1973. Don King co-managed Earnie Shavers in 1973.

Don King didn't dump Foreman after the Ali fight. Don King promoted the Toronto Five exhibition and all of George Foreman's fights from Ali to Young ... before George's retirement.

Don King didn't ignore George Foreman's calls after Zaire. George Foreman dumped his training and management team after losing to Ali and took all of 1975 off (except for a couple exhibitions, which King promoted). The only person on his team George kept from Zaire was Don King.

When George returned in 1976, Dick Sadler, Archie Moore, Sandy Saddler, they were all gone.

    But King was his promoter.

King didn't offer Foreman $5 million for a Tyson fight.

If you actually read the article you posted, King said he'd offer Foreman $5 million "if he beat Cooney and a ranked contender first." Foreman beat Cooney, then a few weeks later, Tyson wasn't the champ anymore.

Foreman told reporters last month that King had offered him a $5-million contract to sign for a Tyson fight, contingent upon his beating Cooney and a ranked heavyweight--Foreman is expected to fight Jose Ribalta in April. He did not say King had offered him a percentage.

Unlike Tyson, Foreman went ahead with his plans. He beat Cooney, then he beat a ranked contender in Adilson Rodriquez, and then he signed to fight Holyfield. And he got $12.5 million (instead of $5 million).

As far as 1995, the link you posted says nothing of Tyson offering Foreman a deal.

On the contrary, Mike Tyson was still in prison when the article you posted was printed. And it says Tyson had signed a deal with the MGM Grand and an exclusive contract with Showtime ... while George had a contract to box and announce on HBO.

So Tyson wasn't exactly looking to make a fight with George by signing with a rival network. If he'd wanted a fight with Foreman, he'd have signed with HBO.

Don King out of his own mouth admits he was in Fraziers entourage in jamaica and then snuck over to foremans camp once he saw Frazier getting dropped over and over. Wether or not he was the official promoter of Joe Frazier at the time isnt even the point of the discussion.

As for your second paragraph, i was responding to iron champs claim that don ignored foremans calls. All i said was that doesnt surprise me. Burden of proof is on iron champ.

Don King road to the fight with Frazier's team. Don King was Earnie Shavers' co-manager in 1973. He wasn't affiliated with Frazier. He got a ride to the stadium with the champ's team.

The first professional boxing match Don King promoted was Ali-Foreman.

He didn't promote or manage Frazier (so he couldn't "abandon" him) and he didn't "abandon" Foreman. He promoted all of Foreman's fights (including exhibitions) from Ali to Foreman's retirement in 1977.

He was in Fraziers entourage who was the champ, then left in the middle of the fight to join foremans camp. The point wasnt if he was fraziers official promoter at the time, the point was he's an opportunist and boxers were right to be wary of him. Im sure youre familiar with how Ali and Witherspoon got robbed dealing with King?

I think he did the same thing with berbick after tyson knocked him out.

Anyway, youre arguing with the wrong person. Iron champ was the one who claimed King abandoned foreman after zaire.

    He wasn't IN Frazier's "entourage."

He was Earnie Shavers' manager. He was in Jamaica. He says in the interview he spent the whole week with George Foreman. He RODE to the fight with Joe Frazier's camp. THAT'S ALL. Have you ever been to a fight where everyone is staying at the same hotel? People travel in vans together to the venue. Groups of people. I traveled in a van to/from the venue with Bermane Stiverne and his team and Lucas Matthysse and his team for a fight card. If I rooted for their opponents during the fight, so what?

It's a funny story (about King and Frazier and Foreman). But King was absolutely NOBODY in 1973. Shavers wouldn't beat Ellis until June 1973. King wanted to be somebody. But he wasn't a part of anyone's entourage in Jamaica. He was thinking of becoming a promoter and he sidled up next to Foreman after the fight. Big Deal! He didn't promote Foreman's next fight (Roman). Or the one after that (Norton). He didn't become a promoter until nearly two years after the first Frazier-Foreman fight.

He didn't "abandon" anyone. He rode to the fight with Frazier's team. He rode back with Foreman's. Nobody even knew who he was back then. Like he said, nobody cared. (Because he was a nobody then.) Get a press pass to a fight card and stay in the same hotel as the fighters. You ride in vans to venues and back to hotels with a lot of people.

Yes. I'm aware Don King ripped off Tim Witherspoon. I'm also aware Don King made 100 boxers MILLIONAIRES. Frankly, there are Fortune 500 companies that don't make 100 employees MILLIONAIRES.

Finally, Don King didn't do "the same thing" to Trevor Berbick. Don King was the promoter of the entire HBO Heavyweight Tournament as well as the promoter of Berbick-Tyson. As the promoter, he celebrated with everyone who won in that tournament.

I'm not trying to berate you. But people repeat that Frazier-Foreman story over and over and think it's an example of how evil Don King was. It's ridiculous. They always get the facts ALL wrong. And then others read it and repeat the false story.

So if i own a school and make 100 students graduate with all A's on their report card but i molested 10 of them, all should be forgiven and overlooked because of the good work ive done?
