i believe for what i ve seen, it doesnt has the standard and level it used to have. winning that tournament is certainly a nice achievement but i doubt that this is a (only) ticket for a successful pro-career. one needs to succeed either on WC or OG. if i compare tournaments in russia or "just" europe, i can see that the amateur-level is much higher skilled that the one in the US.
