As there is no wheight limit at HW and there is a lot of Cruisers fighting just above their natural wheight (Byrd, Chambers, Holyfield, Minto, etc.), what do you consider the standard size for a HW?

    I'd say 6'3, 230lbs.

I'd say 6'2 220 that is the best size for a heavyweight champ. Most all time greats are not huge men. the guys over 230 seem to run out of steam. Lewis is only exception bc he had a tree trunk for a jab that he could keep pace of fight slow.

George Foreman first won the title at 217. Most of the bums who weigh more than that are just fat and lazy.

average size these days for hw is probably 6'3 240. optimal size, well if wlad had a chin he'd be almost unbeatable so i'd says 6'6 240 and atheletic is the best size to have the easiest time in the hw division as it stands.
