    Round 12

Kashtanov is catching the jelly-boned lashes of Valera (mostly looping rights) on the gloves and quickly firing the 1-2 before Valera can regroup. Kashtanov is marching Valera into the ropes and picking off all his wide slapping hooks thrown now from the knees. Valera is doing a chimpanzee impression now while in transit. Kashtanov hunts him down and drops a right hand on the widow's peak. Kashtanov is grabbed and held by the ropes. Valera dances around the ring after the ref instructs him to let go. Valera breaks into a full on canter around Kashtanov, boots coming up as high as his matching neon yellow waistband. One more right hand by Kashtanov.

    10-9 Kashtanov

    119-109 Kashtanov

I don't like this guy, he seems to be here not to fight but clown around. Hope not to see him again...

    11-1 Kashtanov.

Valera gets basically shut out and he's so delusional he thinks he's winning.:nut

I think Valera won more than 1 round though, that's too lopsided. But he definitely lost.

I can kind of see why. He rolled a lot of shots, and would occasionally fire off a couple of flashy bursts which would land on his foe. I thought he banked the last couple to make it pretty close on my card.

Kash was more consistent, and certainly banked seven...but Varela made it interesting, at any rate.

Valera looked like "a poor man's kirkland laing" to me but nether the less a plucky and somewhat entertaining display from him, fair play to him.
