Everyone knows I'm not of the modern set of mind, but the sport did not peak in the teens, definitely not stylistically. That happened around the 40's and on. Simply by today's standards he appears that way, but obviously for his time, as was obviously and otherwise the only legitimate occurence, he was great, in a more dominant way than many other fighters have been in theirs.
