    Round 1

Córdova is moving to his left, tossing out a jab and then ducking & strafing to reset. Acosta walking him down, putting out a double jab, dancing in and out. Patient approach from Acosta. Getting a read on Córdova before getting into any prolonged engagements. Long periods of watching each other now. Córdova falling short with body jabs while bending forward. Acosta jabs the body and just misses with a quick follow-up hook as Córdova scoots away.

    10-9 Acosta

When Acosta is allowed to work at his pace and dictate the exchanges he looks very sharp. I like the way he bounces in and out of range to set up his offense and keep the opponent guessing

    Round 2

Córdova is charging in low with body shots, and has a weird low-pitched battle-cry that sort of telegraphs everything, "ai-eeeeh!". Acosta with body shots on the inside, forcing Córdova to clinch. Spray of jabs over the head by Córdova, with Acosta continuing to invest heavily in basement demolition. Hooking exchange and Córdova is backed out. Acosta moves him into the ropes and momentarily traps him but Córdova manages to laterally trot free. Córdova down from a hit on the break - a total acting job as it was a grazing swipe on the body that Córdova desperately tried overselling like a soccer player. The ref clarifies it wasn't a knockdown and warns him for holding.

    10-9 Acosta

    20-18 Acosta

    Round 3

Acosta ignores the ai-eeehing two-pieces of Córdova, walking through everything to slice him up with jabs and 1-2s. Córdova ruled cut from a punch. Córdova now tying up a lot. Córdova with hit and run hacking combos on Acosta's sides before running across the ring. Acosta cuts the ring off and scores heavy body shots after forcing Córdova to flop over to duck the high jab. Acosta with a series of heavy axing rights up top. Córdova madly clinching.

    10-9 Acosta

    30-27 Acosta

Commentators note on reviewing slow motion replay that Córdova was cut from a headbutt. The referee also corrects his ruling between rounds. If this ends during the fourth round then, because of the cut, it'll be a NC.

    Round 4

Córdova is holding the jab out fully extended to push away on Acosta, then either holding or running. Acosta laying jabs on him when he can, but Córdova doing lots of flopping and bending over in various directions, often preludes to clinches. Acosta switches tacks and starts pelting him with right hands downstairs. Córdova with some blatant rabbit punches in the pocket, and the ref takes a point. Córdova scores a jab but eats a hook. They scrap over the final ten seconds of the round, both landing.

    10-8 Acosta

    40-35 Acosta

Seems like the roughhousing is slightly throwing Acosta off as hes exchanging more at mid range now which is the only distance where Cordova has had success so far, I didn't see the replay yet but while that punch may have been behind the head I'm not sure it was intentional and not due to Acosta ducking too low.

    Round 5

Córdova is emboldened by having brawled on equal footing with Acosta in the final moments of the previous round, perhaps some cobwebs unshaken for TIto after those rabbit punches he took, remains to be seen. Córdova pushing forward but getting lit up with counter bombs. Hooks landed both ways in the pocket, until Córdova pushes away placing his left glove on Acosta's throat. Body jabs by Córdova. Acosta is waiting for him and throwing ambush uppercuts on the body, keeping both hands low to bait Córdova in. Leaping hook by Córdova, falling short. Acosta backing up a few steps, dropping anchor, then paddling away on the body of Córdova with both hands until they clinch. Córdova copies him with his own body paddles.

    10-9 Acosta

    50-44 Acosta
