    Córdova is throwing wet noodle jabs as excuses to get in and pummel the body. Acosta with heavy body shots of his own but Córdova is tying up or bouncing outside to avoid. Córdova ducks an increasingly rare jab from Acosta, shoeshining the body. Acosta catches and maybe hurts Córdova, who clinches and hangs onto Acosta, riding him around the ring. Córdova loses his gum shield again. Ref on top of things again, getting it quickly replaced. Córdova with body shots briefly letting go before clamping a hug on Acosta once more. Acosta slams a right hand down into the left clavicle of Córdova. Both missing badly, very messy stuff.

    Based on talent alone this shouldn't have been competitive at all, Acosta had the clear edge in power, athleticism and size but he has poor ring iq and tends to do only as much as he has to to win rounds rather than asserting himself and fighting to his strengths, I got it 98-91 Acosta but he made this a lot harder than it should have been

    Tito looked world class in the first half (or really, through four rounds) and then yeesh. Lucky his falling apart wasn't any more severe or he might be facing a loss to an inferior fighter here...
