    So they gave Cordova the fight based on doing better than expected and lasting the distance here?! He was hurt twice and won three rounds at most with a point deducted as well

    I don't get the point of robbing Acosta at home to build Cordova. Other than Acosta having just a bit more skill and Cordova a little more volume, they're very similar.

    Maybe they think volume with flaws will set up a highlight reel counter opportunity for Rey? It all seems needlessly elaborate for the flyweight division where you can be a champ or #1 contender with an ugly record.
