You get inside of the lead foot when you want a direct and powerful left hook. See Cotto-Martinez or Fundora-Mendoza. Thing is you have to vary the levels, targets, and the way you close the gap and exit the exchange.

    Best case you mix both.

Wasn't bizarre, he just fell victim to fighting for the crowd. He got reckless and over aggressive, and Tank makes you pay for that. We saw that with Leo Santa Cruz and Rollie. Tank is an excellent counter puncher and set traps well. You simply can't pressure Tank without using a jab to get to him.

The ending was sooner and different from Tank than I expected.

I strongly felt Garcia would box from middle to long range and bag rounds after rounds then become over confident. Well, Tank showed high level boxing skills, countering and nice trap setting early on in this fight.

I just knew Garcia would get caught on the chin, we all know he keeps it up in the air, late in fight but did not see a Deadly body shot being the ending for Garcia.

Nice fight and sorry I missed it live.

Well, that's what we've had to listen to from them throughout his entire career whilst they hype the crap out of far less accomplished, decorated and brave actual cherrypickers and ducker hype jobs who wouldn't dare take a fraction of risks he's taken right from the start of his career.

And massive weight bullies who think they deserve to be treat like gods for slaying nothing but old men and leprechauns half their size and that they're more worthy of a P4P ranking than fighters who have proven themselves against prime world champions their own size, bigger, or way bigger many many times.

You know my views about weight which is if you make the weight we have a fight. No point in bitching about fighting naturally bigger men. Floyd did not not h about it and honestly I have never had Loma or Pacquiao ***** about it. Ryan Garcia was complaining about the fight being at 136 when he had fought most of his career at 135 and 130 pounds. In your opinion do you think Loma is now past his best and do you think he will beat Haney?

Olu, Floyd's fans lavished praise on Floyd all throughout his career for facing bigger men and cited it as an example of his greatness. And yes, he did face bigger or much bigger men and I afford him extra credit for doing so as did all his fans. But even so bizarrely the rules change when it comes to Loma and we see a very different energy from them when it comes to him when he is not only routinely doing the same but doing so on the road, in his opponent's backyards, and in complete contrast to Floyd who has a massive 72'' reach, doing so with a tiny T-Rex 65.5'' reach

The only time we hear a peep about them regarding size when it comes to Loma is Rigo who they literally begged Loma to face and picked to destroy or beat Loma. Not a peep our of them regarding the many times Loma has fought opponents where the size difference between him and them is the same, bigger or much bigger than it was between him and Rigo.

And Floyd was very rarely at a reach disadvantage, let alone a significant or huge one. Loma has very rarely had a reach advantage and is routinely facing opponents with significant or huge ones on him. Floyd, as great as he was, did often struggled when he fought opponents with a similar or longer reach than his.

Floyd, like Loma, is the antithesis of a weight bully. Hence why you'll never hear me accuse him of being one.

The rules also completely change when it comes to the criteria regarding number of world champions fought which was also something Floyd's fans cited all the time when trying to illustrate his greatness

Loma is fighting his 12th world champion in just 20 fights next which is an absolutely insane statistic, one which I don't believe any other fighter in history has ever done before albeit I could wrong. And half of them were/are prime world champions at 135 ie. his third and weakest weight and are all close to 2, 2 or 3 divisions heavier than him and most have huge reach advantages on him too. Not ones way smaller, shot or dragged up in weight.

    Floyd also struggled against slickness.

Loma is fighting someone in his next fight who is not only three divisions heavier than him and has a near six inch reach advantage on him but he's fighting a slickster who's at least three divisions heavier than him, has a near six inch reach advantage on him, in their country with a home ref and three home judges, a country where he's already been royally screwed by the ref and judges twice. Floyd has never done this once in 50 fights

And you're conveniently forgetting that Floyd, as with numerous other multi-weight champs, fought some of these much naturally bigger men at catchweights and tried to slap a rehydration clause on one of them too.

And many of these multiple weight champs had to jack themselves silly with PEDs to help them bridge the gap to campaign at higher weights against bigger men and there's a lot of red flags and controversy surrounding Floyd and numerous members of his gym regarding that.

Loma has never done any of these things. Not once. And in complete contrast he's fighting on the road or in his opponent's backyards without a single home country official in any of his fights. Not one.

You guys act like Goliath is the one who deserves all the praise for fighting David, whereas, at the sake of coming across as sane, I see it the other way round and natural welterweight massive weight bullies beating up on blown up 126, 130 or average-sized 135 pounders, natural welterweights who have never even fought a single world champion close to their size, is proof of their greatness and worthy of a lofty P4P ranking at the expence of fighters who've done so many many times against world champions their own size, bigger or way bigger.

Loma is old, very old for a leprechaun-sized fighter, has a ton of mileage and wear and tear on his body, and the size difference is obscene. He looked a shadow of his former self last time out and years of experience has taught me that old past prime fighters, especially ones that size, not only generally do not look the same as they did in their previous fight when they've fallen over the other side but they in fact look even worse.
