Who said it was aside from Ward? Guy was a dick there. Ward was the one talking about being in control and being "philosophical."

I've already read a few people don't agree with you, but I have to say I got the same feeling when I saw it. I think Ward already had in his mind what he wanted to tell Froch. At least a few bullets on what he wanted to make clear: "My daddy taught me not to pad my self in the back, let others do it..." "you're not in control... you won't be in control of the fight..." It all seemed to come a bit out of nowhere from what Carl asked him.

suppose he did do some preparation? He delivered the line with aplomb and made Froch, who was demanding yes/no answers like a two-bit public prosecutor, look foolish.

I think Ward mentioning his Dad might even surpass the amount of times Ortiz has whined about the woes of his youth. It's getting ****ing boring now.

 

Ward commentated on Froch - Johnson (sorta, he sat there and said he liked Johnson and the fight was even, he even had to be prompted for those classic gems of charisma.) I'd of loved to of seen Froch commentate on a Ward fight, he wouldn't of been so bashful or candid.
