Alright lads. Thought i see if this got us off the same topics that seem to keep dragging our sport down. I been thinking about the future stars of our sport. We all like to predict who's going to be a world champion and who's going to be a big star. For some it boosts one's ego and gives them guru status. So i like you to pick 3 ''Prospects'' to be in your ESB promotional set-up. You will keep track of these fighters and keep the rest of us updated on there progress. Post video's and reason's why if you like. Who you like them to fight and how you'd guide them to a world title. Your prospects can be from anywhere in world BUT this is how selection must be. One fighter who's had under 10 fights One fighter who's had under 20 fights One fighter who's had under 30 fights. (Pushing the word prospect but nowadays...seems like fighters need 30 fights before fighting for title) You can't have exact same squad as anyone else. Can pick any fighters from around the world. Points are won on following basis. **Win on Points** 4 Rounds:1pt 6 Rounds:2pts 8 Rounds:3pts 10 Rounds:4pts 12 Rounds:7pts (non title) 12 Rounds:6pts (Commonwealth/International) 12 Rounds:7pts (Domestic) 12 Round World Title:9pts Interim/WBA Normal Championship: 8pts TD Under 5 rounds:1pts TD Over 6 Rounds:2pts TD Over 8:3Pts TD Over 10:5Pts **Wins Via Way of KO/TKO** KO/TKO Win:5pts **non title bouts** KO/TKO Win (Non Title Bout against World Ranked top 10 fighter):8pts KO/TKO Win in Domestic/Continental Title Challenge:7pts KO/TKO Win In Domestic Title Defence (Mandatory):7pts KO/TKO Win In Domestic Title Defence (Voluntary):6pts KO/TKO Win In European Title Defence (Mandatory):7pts KO/TKO Win In European Title Defence (Voluntary):6pts KO/TKO Win In Commonwealth Title Defence:6pts KO/TKO Win in World Title Challenge:10pts KO/TKO Win in World Title Defence (Mandatory):10pts KO/TKO Win in World Title Defence (Voluntary):9pts KO/TKO Win in Interim World Title Defence/Challenge:9pts If fighter wins by KO/TKO in Unification fight:11pts **Bonus Points** Win Over Former World Champion:1pts Win Over Current World Champion:2pts Win Lineal Title:2pts Enter P4P Top 10 Ring Magazine Rankings:2pts Unify World Titles:2pts Defending World Title Against Mandatory:4pts Defending World Title in Voluntary Defence :2pts (Fighter must be in Top 20 of Ring Rankings) Winning/Defending English Title:1pt Winning/Defending British Voluntary Defence:2pts Winning/Defending British Mandatory Defence:3pts Winning/Defending Commonwealth:1pt Winning/Defending European Voluntary:2pts Winning/Defending European Mandatory:3pts Defending British ,European & Commonwealth Title:3pts NABO and Other Domestic fights from abroad will be scored same as Commonwealth title and KO/TKO Same as Commonwealth's. Fighter wins Intercontinental Title (WBA etc):1pt. Draw Fighters wins 1/2 pt Fighters wins 2pts (Domestic title/International) Fighters wins 3pts (World Title) Loss Fighter Loses a Point off Total. World Championship Situation You cannot select Current World Champions. If your fighter holds a regular title under a Super Champion (ie Chris John Super Champ, Gamboa Regular Champ) Then the regular champion isn't full champion. Interim Champion isn't World Champion. I will only recognize the 4 Major Governing Bodies (WBC,WBA,IBF,WBO) although Lineal title is recognized as well but this shouldn't become a huge issue in league. So all in all to be world champion you must be FULL champion. So have no other champion above you with that organization. Questions/Queries/Improvements Any questions then let me know either on this thread or via PM. Or Improvements. We can run the league up to say 18 months from now...starting today :think Edit:The league starts as of tomorrow night. (Late entries etc). ANYONE EDITING THERE SQUAD HAS UP TO 10PM 20/7/10 AND THEN YOUR SQUAD CANNOT BE CHANGED OR FACE BEING DISQUALIFIED. (sorry for caps but some people will miss this lol) :good Mandanda.

I only really follow the British scene so I don't know too many world wide up and comers. So I'll pick Davey Savage 10-0 SBW Paul Appleby 14-1 FW Prince Arron 18-3-1 JMW
keep them coming lads and make sure you keep tabs on your prospects. after 6 months we have a table up and then after 12 add to it and see where we are 12 months down the line. I see a couple world champions already in making in this thread.
Threads like this should have ten pages and 2,000 views rather than the ****, vitriolic, disrespectful ones with no true salient points that seem to get so much attention:thumbsup. The term 'prospect' is a difficult one to pin down, but these are my picks: -Rigondeaux -George Groves Now, I reckon Gamboa should be allowed as another one of my picks as he technically doesn't hold a real title at present, just a piece of **** sanctioning fee generator that doesn't mean anything. If I can't have Gamboa, I'll have Angulo. Also, can all 3 fighters have, say, 5 fights, or have they got to have between 0-10, 11-20, 21-30 on their record?
You can have Gamboa Mate. i agree totally it's only a sanctioning fee belt. You can have fighters with 5 fights yes :good
All right, I'll have Gamboa, Rigondeaux and swap Groves with Angulo then (bull**** interim titles don't count like he once held I'm hoping). I'm hedging my bets on Rigo sorting out his managerial problems pronto, though. Sorted:bananamaniac.
Less than 10 fights - Ronnie Heffron Less than 20 fights - Tony Bellew Less than 30 fights - John Murray Heffron Straight into 6x3's in his next fight, against Carl Allen Bellew Pull out of the Ajisafe fight and vacate the Commonwealth title. Take a break from the domestic scene and fight Montell Griffin over ten rounds. Murray Leave Mick Hennessy and sign with Hatton promotions. Vacate the British and European titles, and look for a ten rounder with David Diaz on an undercard, then Rocky Juarez.
Under 10 fights: Kazuto Ioka; 4-0 Under 20 fights: Carlos Ivan Velasquez; 13-0 Under 30 fights: David Lemieux; 23-0 I'm rolling the dice with this 'team' :yep
