Can I make a suggestion that points given for wins are subject to the quality of opponent rather than just wins. For example Win over fighter with losing record 1 points Win over fighter with max 51-75% winning record (less than 10 fights) 2 points Win over fighter with 76-99% winning record (less than 10 fights) 3 points Win over undefeated fighter (between 5-10 fights) 4 points Win over fighter with max 51-75% winning record (less than 20 fights) 7 points Win over fighter with 76-99% winning record (less than 20 fights) 10 points Win over undefeated fighter (between 10-15 fights) 12 points Win over undefeated fighter (between 15-20 fights) 15 points Win over fighter with max 51-75% winning record (more than 20 fights) 10 points Win over fighter with 76-99% winning record (more than 20 fights) 15 points Win over undefeated fighter (more than 20 Fights) 20 points Bonus 5 - winning the Commonwealth (Cannot be vacant) 10 - winning the British (Cannot be vacant) 15 - winning the European (Cannot be vacant) 25 - Winning World Title (IBF, WBA, WBC or WBO no interim title bs) 50 - Winning Lineal Title 2 - Commonwealth defence 4 - British defence 6 - European defence 10 - World Title Defense 5 - Opponent is top 50 (IBO Rankings) 15 - Opponent is top 10 (Ring Magazine) What do you reckon otherwise I could just pick a bunch of Dmitry Salita type fighters that will pad their record to high heavon.
Funny thing: Juanma Lopez, Bute and Haye all meet the criteria. So does Froch. Saul Alvarez & Victor Ortiz, however, don't. I was thinking of making a non-prospect "stars of future" team, it could look like this: under 10: Pulev under 20: Povetkin under 30: Froch I decided against it. I don't want to ruin a brilliant thread. (And I don't think Froch & Povetkin would score many points.)
I'm competitive :yep It's not that hard to work out for example F Gavin 27 J Benavidez 10 G Groves 35 Otherwise like I said you can pick a bunch of padders and win with ease. Or you might pick the best team in reality but because they aren't active or lose to a big star you don't win. Only saying if you're going to do it might as well do it properly. It can be simplified from what I put down.
Under 10 fights: Jose Benavidez; 7-0 (7 KO's) Under 20 fights: Tony Bellew; 13-0 (9 KO's) Under 30 fights: John Murray; 29-0 (17 KO's)
Mine is a British Squad: Under 30 - Nathan Cleverley Under 20 - Tyson Fury (A big risk) Under 10 - James Degale
