    Quality thread Mandanda. Can we have two in the same category? So if the below is accepted I'd have one boxer in the <10 but two in the <20 and none in <30. That alright?

    If so, then may I introduce;

    Pat's Pugilists

    Yuriorkis Gamboa 18-0

    Matt Korobov 11-0

    Felix Diaz 6-0

    I'll put my reasons for why down in a bit, just want to get my team in first.

    Only reason I havent picked any Brits is because of the way British promoters tend to wait until they've had about 30 fights before putting them in with champions. And the points dont lend themselves to that approach. Otherwise, Bellew, Gavin and Stephen Smith would all be in there!

    Actually, Korobov was one of the first names that sprung to mind and I'm now torn between him and Casimero :think

    You get more points for a KO in 10 rounder than you do for a points win in a 12 rounds (a title fight). Given the level of competition should generally be lower for the prospect in 8-10 rounders and they will tend to fight more often over these distances, thats the way I've tried to go with my team.

    Rather than pick guys like Jacobs, Gamboa, Rigondeaux etc. who will win world titles in 18 months I've gone for guys who I think will pick up a lot of wins over 8-10 rounds during that time.

    Ahhh! Cheers Gaz.

    Cant be arsed changing the team though.

    I'll just take a moral victory instead.
