Is there any talented prospects from your country who you can see turning pro and becoming a star.

I've heard a lot about and seen a decent bit of Danny Jacobs, but against competition like this it's hard to tell.

I second Danny Jacobs, and for a cool mini documantary into his amateur career, hit this link up,

    http://www.nomas.tv/ .

Paul Appleby from here in Scotland should go onto the world stage and get a strap if he fulfills his potential.

Molitor, Bute, and Alcine are the real p4p talents.

Ngoudjo, Pascal and Diaconu might have a quick stint at the top if they avoid really tough fighters

Best young British prospects are Appleby, Mitchell, Brook and dare I mention Khan

Whether they'll be stars I doubt.

Are there any other Canadian prospects that were actually born in Canada and not taken up citzienship other than Molitor?

    Serious question.

ps. I have Molitor 26th in my Pound for Pound list. I like what I see.

Aye, impossible to tell how much of a prospect he is until the kid turns pro though. Think Saunders won his first fight

Eubank's son is supposed to be going pro too

That could be interesting!! I wonder did he borrow the Harley.

The olympics will answer alot of questions but the amateur game doesnt suit everyone. This is particulary true for our young boxer Darren Sutherland.

Apparently Eubank Jr has been making a few waves in the American gyms, holding his own against the likes of Judah.

I'd be wary of putting my money on the sons of former elitist fighters. There's usually way too much hype to live up to and they usually crumble under the spotlight. Most of them only do it because they've been raised around it and not because they actually want to do it.

This goes for JCC Jr as well.

Yeah, I'm not exactly getting my hopes up

Heard a few decent reports about his sparring, but he's supposed to be a complete ****.

Well that's usually the issue with the 2nd generation stars, their dads usually did all the hard work for them and they think they can get by because of their names and genetics.

It'll be intriguing to see what becomes of him on the next level should he choose to go that far.
