Well put it this way, I believe Brook had a good chance of beating GGG if he hadn't sustained the injury. He received the injury at the end of round 2, two rounds which he cleanly won.

I think Brook vs Spence is 50/50. Spence is the real deal so no excuses whether he wins or loses. He looked very impressive vs Algieri and Bundu and stopped them both pretty easily, something that Pac, Khan and Thurman were not able to do.

One thing we know is that Brook has a granite chin and is ready to go to war. I don't think Spence enjoys getting hit and won't react as well to Brook's punches as Brook will to his.

I think Spence may edge the first 2 rounds before Brook finds his timing. I can see a 7-5 either way but Brook will probs get the decision because UK.

 

I can see Brook beating Thurman.
But i think Spence is a step ahead of both.
Thurman is where Spence will truly shine. His big time moment.
That is if Spence is as good as i perceive him to be.

 

Rate brook...but after rewatching spence again think this is gonna end badly for brook. Brook the best hes fought but the better guys spence has fought havenr just been beat...but more brutalised. He rarely misses. His body shots are pretty brutal. Puches accurately in combination. Great power. Good speed. Fundamentally pretty sound. Think brooks style gives him some problems early. Or at least makes it difficult. But teckpn brooks gonna be on the other side of a hiding. Spence looks very good.

 

Fair assessment.

I think differently, I think Brook is going to be able to push Spence back and make him fight a style he's not used to. Spence doesn't move his head that much and Brook's 1-2 is like a sniper rifle.

 

No excuses either way but of course there will be a few who will make them whoever wins but do not hold the rest of us responsible for comments made by the odd person

I will not come on here and see all Spence Jr fans/supporters or people who just think he will win the same if a few make excuses if he loses.

So don't come on here if Spence Jr wins and throw people like me in with Brook excuse makers just because I predicted a Brook win, if Spence Jr wins I will be on here giving him all the respect and credit he deserves and I hope the same happens from pro Spence Jr posters if Brook wins.

 

Brook is going to win this fight, nobody needs excuses, if Spence wins then he will be the next BIG thing at welterweight, levels above Thurman, Porter or Garcia.

Excellent point and Spence Jr said he walks around 175 lean ripped and Brook walks around 175 looking like a tubby power lifter!

 

They both train as fighters that utilizes weights in their training regiment. Spence is taller but Brook has bigger guns and a deeper chest and a thicker neck.

 

Certainly hope so anyway mate. Just looks a tall order for me. Got a feeling spence is on the way to being the real deal. Watched the algeiri fight again earlier and the van veern fight or the guy that i m sure sparred mcgregor. Spence just bounced shots off them all night. The writing was on the wall right from the first round basically as soon as he starts landing and he doesnt miss much. Neither are top of the division granted but its the type of thing prospects do to guys that are a lot less respected than that. There just wasnt a fight but spence basically just beating up on them. If spence is able to tag brook think brooks needs come out and put it on him because he,ll break you down if hes allowed to land. You need to do something to discourage him. Think brooks got the best chance of all the welterweights to beat him with his movement and style maybe offset him enough and unlike the other 2 at least brooks got something offensi vely to make him think. But got a feeling this kids gonna put a beating on him and stop him after a decent start from brook. Think its gonna be a tall order pushing this kid back for long.
