Spence a step ahead of Thurman?

    based on what exactly?

Spence hasn't fought near the level of Brook's opposition, let alone Thurman! Thurman beat Porter, Garcia, Guerrero etc. Spence fought Bundu and Algeiri

Lol. Spencer accuracy in power punches against bundu something like 67 percent compared to thurman who was hitting against bundu at 47 percent. Thats a pretty good accuracy rate for power punches. Brook is a very accurate puncher as well tbf...good jab stats. I m actually a brook fan. Spences jabs pretty decent but his percentages a good bit lower than his power punches. But he took bundu and algieri apart. Wasnt even competetive. Blew up algieris face in the first round. For all the critiscm algieri gets...hes only lost twice against pacman and khan. Hes also showed he can survive in there...but he was busted up early then basically just shellacked for the rest of the fight against spence. These guys are respected fighters maybe not with the fans...but with guys in the business. Its not like the usual guys prospects are bashing up. Lets just say its not kevin bizier.

Brook will make spences accuracy fall. But i think spence is pretty lethal when he does start landing. The problem with spence is when he does start landing its usually 2s and 3s or 4s. They end up depleting you pretty quickly. Great fight.

Yes kell didnt take a knee against GGG because GGG barely touched him in the first few rounds. When he actually landed something meaningful he broke his eye and his corner threw in the towel. The guys a quitter.

I think this is a genuine 50/50 fight. It's funny that this thread is about Kell Brook excuses, but Spence fans on here seem to be starting early and getting their excuses in now.

I think it's good that we don't see many Spence excuses here prior to the fight, despite the good chance Brook's home advantage will prove to be the deciding factor in this fight.

Very close fight, will be down to who can establish the jab better. Brook was timing porter so well with that 1-2, question marks over whether he can catch spence with those

Should be a good fight, sometimes these jumps in weight can ruin a fighter, Brook looks good from it I believe

    I'm going Brook points close

For me, it's too close to call. Every time I decide one guy is gonna' beat the other, some mitigating factor occurs to me. Another thing is, it's possible that Gennady ruined Brook. That was a hellacious beating he took. It all depends on how the fight plays out, but if Spence comes in and makes short work of Kell, I don't think it would be ridiculous to think the GGG fight had an effect. Conversely and again depending how things look in there, if Brook beats up Spence, it may not be silly to think that Brook was too much too early. I love this fight. Props to both guys for getting it on and I can't wait til' Saturday!

I'm not quite as confident as you, but I love the +195 I got on Brook last night and even added a little stab on his inside the distance line at +602.

What you don't seem to want to acknowledge is it wasn't an accidental injury!

This wasn't David Haye pulling an Achilles.

GGG punched Brook in the face with bad intentions and broke his face.

That is the same argument as so and so would have won if they didn't get ktfo!

I haven't seen any excuses from Spence fans but from Brook fans they have typically been saying Brook wins if he makes weight properly.

I don't think many Spence fans think Brook will make it to the cards as Spence is that much better.

I agree you have to give credit to Golovkin for landing punches that caused the injury, I'm not taking anything away from GGG, he won the fight.

Freak injury beside, Brook had a good chance to win that fight. He was the better boxer in the ring out of the two men.

Based on gut feeling and Spence passing the eye test.
Its what i believe him to be.
