So, usually all my coach makes me do for Abs is 4x50 crunches on the machine with 30lbs. the lightest weight possible. I got pretty tired of just doing that. Today I tried something different. Decline Russian Twists(with weight) 12 reps The weighted crunches 50 reps Side Bends with dumbbells 15 reps I did like a superset kinda deal. As soon as I did 12 twists, I ran over to the crunch machine did 50, then ran over to the dumbbells and did bends. I rested 30-45 seconds after I got done with the 15 side bends. I did this 4 times. It wasn't that bad, so I'm thinking about adding regular sit ups in there as well. Any other exercisdes that would be beneficial? Take some out? Thoughts would be appreciated.
Welcome to the site :good I use this type of routine when attempting to get back in shape. Its simple and straight forward. Of course you can do it the opposite way etc, to keep the muscles thinking. http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=FR&hl=fr&v=fk_usVg7Fp0&feature=related Hope this helps :thumbsup
