Boxing promoting seems like the funnest job in the world, think alot of us would love to do it. But anyone know how you'd get started??

Would u need to sign a stable of fighters first and then approach tv companies, trying to build revenue enough to put on big shows?

Dont really know how they function in the boxing world?

The only thing I imagine you would need are money and connections.

If you want to reach the top,Well you have to be a murderer criminal mastermind like Don King and stomp people till they die because they owe you $600, or a Lawyer and master liar like Bob Arum, or a millionaire swiss banker like Richard Schaefer.

    Are you being serious?

I'm sorry if I'm getting your hopes down but that's a huge mission on it's own.

Firstly, you would need thousands to get them placed regularly on a TV Station. You'd have to ensure the fighters would be getting paid what they want if they were to sign with you.

When someone normally attempts to become a Promoter, you will lose money firstly, and a LOT of it. You have to be a very very wealthy man to even consider the job.

When I talk about losing money, I don't mean hundreds either, I'm talking thousands and thousands.

You need a lot of connections if you want to get somewhere with it also.

It's really a far cry my friend, unless you do a lot of research on the subject and are a wealthy man.
