starting out

    im a lil older cat at age 26 who wants to start training to box for fun and just to see where it goes. any beginners tips on training?

    I'm 27 and only just started boxing last year. The best advice I could give is to join a gym.

    i have been workin out in a gym since last june with weights and cardio. any other advanced tips to build stamina?

    but i do know the boxing gym down here in miami that i can check out. its the one hopkins used to train at. ill check it out this weekend

    if this is your firsttime boxing i suggest focus on boxing training first. the basics like footwork, balance, basic puches are the most important and must be practiced everyday. What kind of cardio do you do? sprint intervals? long distance running? hill sprints?
