thing is from a judges perspective, how many folk who get dropped twice in a fight against an opponent who stayed on his feet actually go on to win.
It's wrong I know as fights are judged round by round but you do wonder sometimes?

Im the opposite. I had it near 50/50 after the Ortiz fight... but have come to solidly favor AJ.

However, the exciting aspect about Wilder is, he embodiment of the phrases 'anything can happen' and 'dont blink'.

You simply can not count him out of any fight, against anyone.

That being said... Ive come to really think that its going to be a mismatch when they do fight.

I do think it would be in AJs best interest to try assaulting Wilder early and hoping he can take him out early.

Him doing his patient dissecting like he does leaves him vulnerable for when Wilder does start timing him

This. 50/50 seems about right. I can see Joshua’s check hook being really effective in neutralizing Wilder’s right hand, but at the same time Joshua doesn’t move his head enough and sometimes waits too much, which is why Wlad was able to floor him and Whyte was able to rock him.

Agree 100% on this. But I think he'll be "patient" and therefore get timed by Wilder

Watch it before you knock it. I have seen him fight before! Usually when he sees the punch coming he waits for it not open up and try to throw the widest left hood in boxing history! His eyes saw the punch coming! Watch the clip

Yes but in the lead up to Breazeale he acknowledged he was too aggressive in looking for the KO early in the Fury fight. Also I like the fact that he came in at 223 on the scales as opposed to the 209 he did against Fury.

Joshua will almost definitely be favored but no one should be surprised if Wilder pulls it off.

I still favour AJ in a one off fight, and always will. When two guys with power to KO the other meet, it's the guy with the higher skill level that usually lands the first KO blow, and that's an adage I'll stick to. Golovkin/Lemieux, Dorticos/Kudryashov .... Joshua/Wilder?

That's not to say Wilder can't win, if they were to fight 10 times he'd definitely win a share of them. I just don't believe it will be the Lion's share.

Fringe ATG, yes. Fury is at that level now. Mid to low 20's. List me your top 30 HW ATGs. Don't make me start comparing resumes.

i know what you are saying but the fact that 90% agreed that fury won despite the knock downs tell you how badly he outboxed him

having said that although fury shoudl have won, the 2 knock downs is the reason why im ok with the draw... if it was just one then nah but the way he was out cold in the 12, i will take the draw
