What are you talking about? All I've said is he has cheated by taking banned substances and will find it hard to lose the reputation. Rightly so in my eyes
You just do not understand do you.Abel does not trust Oscar and Canelo like 99% of boxing fans. GGG hasn't complained about random testing as he doesn't cheat he's testing clean. If youre clean its no problem is it They BOTH need to be randomly tested exactly the same. Maybe they ought to randomly test the officials too maybe it would stop the crazy 118-110 cards
If both sides agreed to earlier testing, then that would be part of the contract and wouldn't be an issue. That wasn't what AA said, he said VADA tested Canelo earlier than usual upon the advice of GGG, which sounded sounded shady. If GGG managed to convince VADA to go down to Mexico and test Canelo earlier than they would normally do as some sort of a inside deal / favor, that's illegitimate as that's not how it's supposed to work. VADA's random testing schedule isn't supposed to be influenced by a fighter telling them when to test his opponent. Frankly I find it hard to believe that team GGG would have specified or pushed for more stringent testing before the rematch was initially signed (back in January IIR) because at that point he had no reason to. That was before Canelo tested positive, so at that point why would GGG or his team request more stringent testing or earlier testing at that point? This must be an attempt to make GGG out to be nostradamus, that he suspected Canelo of taking PEDs, and he urged VADA to test Canelo earlier and voila Canelo tested positive just like GGG had suspected. I find it hard to believe that GGG or his team would have pushed for more stringent testing back then, let alone been able to influence VADA to test Canelo earlier, if in fact that wasn't part of the contract agreed by both sides. elbonzoseco, we're talking about two different things. Trying to enforce a clean sport is a good thing, if both sides agreed to more stringent testing there's no problem with that. We were talking GGG advising VADA to test Canelo earlier which would be corrupt because he would have been able to influence VADA's procedures and testing schedule and that's not how VADA is supposed to work.
GGG7 Anel would be right on the money if they did advise VADA to test Canelo in Mexico. He did test POSITIVE he did pop DIRTY!! He was caught with his pants down ROFL He's just not man enough to own up to it
First of all, Canelo hasn't complained about random testing either, and FYI he's been subject to random testing for a hell of a lot longer than GGG has. I agree that both need to be randomly tested exactly the same. Exactly the same is the key, if GGG was somehow able to convince VADA to test Canelo earlier than usual, if GGG was able to tell VADA when to test Canelo, then that's not exactly the same now is it? The claim was that Canelo was tested in Mexico back in February upon the advice of GGG. I'm all for more stringent testing, if both sides agree, and VADA is a neutral broker. VADA shouldn't be influenced or advised by either side telling them when to test their opponent. That's not how it's supposed to work.
lol before the clenbuterol situation, back in January, when the rematch was initially signed, what would have caused Team GGG to suspect Canelo of cheating to the point that they would request longer / more stringent testing? 2nd question, was it reported back in January when they initially signed the contract that Team GGG had specified more stringent testing back then, was it in the contract? If not, then Team GGG didn't specify or advise VADA about testing Canelo earlier when the contract was signed for the rematch. So at that point, how do we interpret AA's claim? That GGG had some inside contact with VADA who was able to manipulate Canelo's testing schedule?
But you miss the point entirely If Canelo hadn't cheated. Hadnt popped dirty nothing would be said would it. Anyway I would think it was more the suspicions of the vast majority that led to Canelo's testing than anything Abel said
Jeez man wise up EVERYONE thought Canelo was juiced in the first fight. He was like a mini HULK. How has he lost that muscle FAIRLY & LEGALLY??. Youre just flogging a dead horse trying to find excyses
Both fighters were already enrolled in testing for the first fight and agreed to another round of testing. We need specifics as to who demanded more stringent testing and when if we're going to take the claim seriously.
You are clueless. The moment they were enrolled in the VADA program testing could begin. They both signed the contract, so they both agreed. Team GGG pushed for the contract to be signed earlier so that the testing could begin earlier. that's what happened here and that's pushing for a clean sport. Many fighters keep pushing back the signing of contracts, but as I said, every expert agrees 8 weeks is just not enough. There is no argument here, Canelo wasn't miraculously tested before any contract was signed. Go look it up, here is what VADA posted on Feb. 3rd: VADA welcomes Gennady Golovkin back to our program as he prepares for his 5/5/18 rematch against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez VADA welcomes Saul “Canelo” Alvarez back to our program as he prepares for his 5/5/18 rematch against Gennady Golovkin. Both were enrolled at the same time, officially posted by VADA (it's on their Facebook page). He tested positive (first test) on the 17th of feb.
