    “We agreed to a date of July 2nd at a venue in Germany with both Sky Sports and RTL and everybody appeared happy with the deal, We made a few concessions to remove past stumbling blocks and were happy to do so, as it finally looked like the fight would get made.

    Even through negotiations, though, it was clear Wladimir was looking for the coward’s way out. He would often come up with new obstacles and problems to overcome, and I never once sensed he fancied it.

    He refused to come to England, wanted to pick his own gloves, enter the ring second, box out of the red corner and demanded a German doctor. He also wanted his name to feature first on any promotional material ahead of the event. We bowed to each and every one of his demands. I didn’t want to potentially jeopardise anything this time around.

    It should never have come to this, I was available to fight in May and June, yet Klitschko only gave me dates of April 30 and July 2. The April date would be too close to Amir Khan’s next fight, and prove problematic with Sky Box Office, so we settled for July.

    Klitschko claims he’ll fight both me and Chisora, but it’s nonsense. Are we expected to believe that a fighter who competed only once in the whole of 2009 and twice in 2010 is now going to box twice in a matter of nine weeks? A bout with me is the most lucrative, meaningful and dangerous fight Wladimir’s ever had, not some throwaway tune-up. Wladimir won’t fight anybody nine weeks after Chisora, let alone me.

    I now need to look for a fight of my own beyond April, as Amir Khan has that month tied up with his bout. Presumably Wladimir is expecting me to fight in either May or June and then face him in early July. It’s ridiculous.

    They demanded 50:50 right from the start and we eventually agreed and gave them all they wanted, despite the fact that our side brought three times as much money to the overall pot.

    We had venues available for May and June, but Wladimir had no intention of ever coming to England. Unfortunately, he claimed he had no venues available in Germany for May and June and that’s why we find ourselves in the situation we’re in right now.

    If the fight doesn’t happen now, it never will. I’m done with the Klitschkos. I know I can retire later this year with my head held high, knowing I did everything in my power to make these fights happen. I’ve had defining fights and beaten the best in the world as a cruiserweight, but, without me, Wladimir can never say he’s done the same as a heavyweight.”

    Erm, David, so ****ing what if he's taking a tune-up in April! As long as he meets you in July or August, that's all that matters....right? Because if he doesn't, then we know it's him who's ****ed everything up.

    What a ****ing *****. He is basically walking away because he doesn't want Wlad to stay sharp and active by taking a tuneup.

    Haye is worried Wlad will pull out? Is this shameful **** serious or just taking us for fools? Does he forget he is the one who pulled out of their first fight which is the reason Wlad only had one fight in 2009?

    And Golden Boy standing by this nonsense? You'd think they'd bend over backwards to make big fights at this point in time. Those guys are absolute imbeciles. They killed the Mayweather fight and any chance of them working with Top Rank in the near future, now they would prefer Haye face another bum in his next fight. How about a Harrison rematch?

    They really are stupid aren't they.
    By agreeing Haye would have had TWO fights lined up, Chagaev and Wlad.
    Now, by declining, Haye has one fight lined up, Chagaev.

    Dave Haye should have said
    Ok we fight in July and if you back out for any reason than your brother haas to step in and fight me.

    and Dave Haye would have won the fans and the fight. now he loses

    Wlad is a goose after all. Can't come to England, give me a break. Go ahead and fight Chisora and see if the fight with haye happens a month later ......never happen. TV dates are available for May and June, but, Wlad said no England, thank u. No TV dates are available for Germany in May and June. Who is the duck now? :lol:

    He won't fight Chagaev. Watch them use his Hep B as an excuse not to fight him.

    And Haye mentioned he is retiring this year? **** me, he is not only ducking, he is running for the hills!

    Ok, so the worst that can happen, is it taking place in August instead. One measly month. 4 ****ing weeks. Is that so awful that Haye has to walk away from the fight for good?

    And if Wlad fails to show up then, Haye and his fans can blast Klitschko all they want.

    they should just boycott sky,**** sky. fight on bbc,itv,internet ppv only,whatever.

    man,just meet up in car park,and have boente and booth have hand held cameras ready!.



    you people honeslty think wlad would fight chisora on april 30th,

    then have 8 weeks in which to rest for week or two & then go into another training camp,
    shorter than any other training camp and then fight haye as his 2nd fight in 9 weeks!.

    come on people,get real.

    and if haye can only fight after april,in may or even as late as june,then fight wlad straight after without proper training camp and fight on july 2nd!.

    vitali might be more of a man and get some balls,pay solis step aside money seen as they arent negotiating too well,and fight haye in may or june in england.

    Start looking at it from a non klit nut hugging view for a sec.

    Theres no chance in hell that Wlad will fight so close to the Chisora fight, its a smokescreen put up to try and make himself look a little less of a ***** but only deluded nut huggers like you believe it.

    Or how about this....Haye goes ahead and arranges a fight in May, just a couple of weeks after Wladimir disposes of Chisora. Then they simply make each other the next priority. Surely there will be plenty of dates available after July. Why is Haye treating this as a deal-breaker? Is the July 2nd date the last and only day available for a fight?
