Why even have another fight? He should just retire now..

Remember a couple years ago when he was going to be the new Holyfield, he couldn't even carry Holys spit bucket....

After Haye - Harrison, who the **** would waste their money? Nobody wants to see WALDO - Chisora, yet this is the fight that he's chosen, not Haye. He could've chosen Haye, but didn't.

David Haye makes a lot of statements. Does anyone pay attention to this **** talker? In what way is he even relevent to the division? He has fought 4 fights in almost 30 months of being at HW. The highlight of his HW campaign is beating a way past it Ruiz.

He chose both, Ilesey. To say he's chosen Chisora instead of Haye is nonsense when he's happy to fight Haye on July 2nd. Haye is using the tune-up with Chisora as an excuse and thinks he can pull the wool over everybodies eyes by leaving out a tonne of details in his statements.

Done with Haye. He's got a date and he doesn't want it, just like he pulled out the first time and just like he turned down Vitali to fight Valuev, and turned down another opportunity to get negotiations underway by fighting Harrison instead. Seeing as he doesn't spend much time in the ring, he might aswell put all his free-time at the moment to good use getting back down to cruiserweight where he belongs.

After all the talk about how he's going to make waves in the heavyweight division and destroy the Klitschko's and he's turned down a total of 3 fights with them and doesn't even mention Vitali's name. After all the talk about how great he was going to be, he'll be remembered as more Herbie Hide than Lennox Lewis. Hilarious.

It's not Haye that's ruined this fight, its Klitschko.

The decision by Klitschko to fight Derek Chisora 8 weeks prior to Haye is what has cost the fight, god knows why he insists on fighting Chisora who is ****, it's a farce, but he has and now we have no fight.

Wlad Klitschko is a ducker, he won't face anyone who poses even the slightest risk to him, and would rather beat up on overmatched losers like Derek Chisora instead of manning up and fighting Haye. What an embarassment to the sport.

A couple of years back De La Hoya took a warm up against Steve Forbes on regular HBO and he'd been boxings biggest ppv draw for years. He could fight someone on regular sky, call it a reward for charging people for the Harrison mess, make it quick and exciting, raise anticipation for the eventual Klitschko fight. But Haye's a fighter who doesn't seem to like to fight.

Setanna collapse killed the first fight. You can not blame Haye not wanting to fight for free. Proffessional boxing is about getting paid not being macho.

Wladimir has killed this fight. I will fight 8 weeks later is a poor excuse.

Tell you what you can fight me for a £5 and risk losing a £100 eight weeks later. You may be macho enough to do it. Unfortunately HBO, Skysports are not macho they are proffessional. They deal in money. Nobody in business risks a 20 million pound fight for a 1 million pound fight.

Our only hope is Wladimir realises he is ****ed business wise if he does not pull the Chisora fight. Unfortunately his ego is to big I fear. Business wise outside of Germany he is dead if he does not make a major u turn.

You can call David Haye what you like, nobody on the business side of boxing is buying Wladimir story. Except possibly Frank Warren who has a long hatred of David Haye and promotes Chisora.

The Vitial fight is an option, but requires Vitial to pull out of fighting Solis. Solis will not let him. Worse for Vitial, Solis is by a country mile better than anybody he has faced since Lennox Lewis. If Solis gets in shape he will beat Vitial. Vitial vs Solis is a real 50/50 there is no way Haye could be confident who will win.

All big title fights normally have at least four months of promoting to maximumise the earnings. This is not a David Haye ego think it is business.
A Chisora fight reduces the pot so Wladimir may well earn less by having the Chisora fight.

Wladimir is in the **** up to his neck now. Convincing arm chair fans he is macho and it is all Haye's fault is fine. Business wise he has lost at least half his house. Well done Wladimir you muppet.

Stopped here. Tune-ups happen all the time when big fights are on the table. If you think the above statement is true, you must have been watching boxing for 6 weeks.

Yes but this tune-up is ruining the fight it's intended to be tuning up.

    **** Chisora, fight Haye.

Well, he hasn't chosen both if Haye said that the fight won't happen if he goes ahead with Chisora. So, in my opinion WALDO could have dropped the Chisora idea altogether. WALDO's at the top of his game and needs no tune ups. He will be sharp enough from camp and if Haye is so bad then it's even more of an arguement that Chisora just isn't needed. Given how fragile the situation is for such a big fight, I just can't see that it's a smart move for Klitschko, when he had the Haye fight agreed.

It doesn't matter when Vitali decided to take on Johnson. The point is that he DID take on Johnson with the same turn around that Wlad plans on doing. You argument wasn't that Wlad should have never done this because of the agreed fight. You were arguing that Wlad simply couldn't fight twice in that amount of time. You were wrong. If Vitali can do it, there is absolutely no reason to believe that Wlad can't do it. It doesn't matter if Wlad hasn't done it lately... he has the opportunity to do it now, and is willing to sieze that opporunity.

I said it from day one and I'll say it again. Wlad has possibly the worst HW resume of any long-time champ in the history of professional boxing. He will leave no legacy other than the fact he refused to fight the no. 2 in the division and was never the clear no. 1 over his brother. His legacy will be getting brutally KO'd by 3 poor fighters and then avoiding anything even remotely dangerous for the rest of his pitiful career.

Wlad is the concensus most boring HW champ in history and now he's proven himself to be a coward also.

He obviously has no respct for his fans as he's refusing to sign a deal with Haye. His fans want to see him KO Haye more than anything in the world but instead he's making them buy a disgrace of a fight in Chisora for the second time. Why bother faking the injury in the first place?

It seems Wlad's only mission in life is to destroy any excitiment or intrigue the HW division could ever have. Let's hope he breaks down and retires soon so we can be rid of his disgraceful, cowardly 'negotiating'.

If you actually believe Klitschko would honour a July 2nd date then you're as naive as they come. Wlad will not be taking on the biggest challenge on his career with a 2 week recovery and 6-week training camp, he will fight Chisora then say "sorry I need more time to train, we will have to reschedule" and because Haye is locked into the contract he'll have no choice but to go along with it.

If you seriously think a consumate professional like Wlad is going to do something reckless like fight twice in 2 months, when facing the most dangerous contender in years, then you're stupid. Wlad will fight Chisora, come back and want the date putting back to August/September, leaving Haye hanging and unable to fight.

Furthermore, the fight against Chisora should not be happening anyway. Regardless of the Haye situation Chisora is a 14 fight novice with no discernable talent who beats up his girlfriend and is mentally unstable enough to bite people whilst in the boxing ring. Even if Haye and Klitschko was guarenteed I would object to this fight as a waste of time and a dangerous mismatch where Chisora could end up seriously hurt. If you're going to have a tune-up at least make it against someone who has 20+ fights under their belt and who can make you work for the win, not some bum. People like you are justifying this farce and you should take a step back and look at what is going on.

Wlad Klitschko is not a 20 year old prospect who fights once a month and needs to get rounds under his belt, he's a 58 fight pro, he's 35, he's got the experience all he needs to be is in shape. He doesn't need a tune-up against an overmatch guy like Chisora, he's just looking for a reason to put the fight back.
