Sometime in March - plenty of time to get ready for July date in case Wlad gets injured in Chisora fight.

While Wladimir was preparing for Chisora, Boente said Vitali was available right now. Solis could easily be asked to step aside. Him being the mandatory was not a problem.

But Haye of course prefers to fight Vitali last.

Vitali did it with only about a week more in between with Arreola and Johnson fights, why can't Wlad. Haye has no reason not to accept the July date.

Football season starts in August ;)

Haye was available to fight in May or June but the only dates Wlad would do were 30th April or 2nd of July. Haye chose 2nd July, Klitschko chose to fight Chisora instead

No, Wladimir chose to fight Chisora IN ADDITION TO, NOT instead of, Haye.

July 2nd is the date, Haye can still agree. It's up to him at this point.

Thats not acceptable, you cannot expect Haye to wait around and prey Wlad doesnt get injured or cut. Plus how disrespectful of Wlad to be looking past his next fight? Blokes a coward and an idiot.

Wlad didn't want to go into such a big fight with a 9 month lay-off after injury and severe ring-rust obviously. They agreed on July 2nd and Wlad would fight Chisora aswell to shake off the ring-rust and get back to being in the ring. He then agreed to a Haye fight 9 weeks later [Vitali - older and more susceptible to injuries - fought Johnson 9-10 weeks after Arreola] and Haye saw a reason to back out, again.

if klit says he will fight haye on the date agreed upon, then whats the problem? using the "you may get cut" excuse sounds like a ***** way to squirm out of it. just worry about you being ready and let them worry about klit being ready. so far, from what ive read, wlad hasnt shown signs of trying to duck and in all honesty, haye has.

So WLAD has said no to Vegas and no to England, then when he gets Germany(and everything else he wants) he says its got to be April or July and he has to fight Chisora first knowing Haye cant agree to April but can do May/June

He doesnt need to fight Chisora, just agree to fight Haye in ****ing May/June a few weeks later!!!

    Wladimir BITCHKO.

I dont know what you got against Haye but how you see this as Haye to blame is beyond me. He agreed to everything that was asked, including date and then Wlad decided he'd fight someone else. And Haye is supposed to sit there and accept it despite the very real risk of Wlad suffering an injury or cut?

    Ring rust?

Thats an excuse for poor perfromances, thats why you train.

The situation is not the location. They've said that first available date for both TV networks is July 2nd, so that's the date regardless of whether it's England or Germany. They are not going to this on only one network.

They BOTH agreed to the July 2nd date. Wlad wants to fight Chisora in the mean-time, what's wrong with that? He can fight 9 weeks later - his older more injury-prone brother did it between the Arreola & Johnson bouts.

Poor excuse? And the 'what if he suffers and injury or cut' excuse isn't? There's a risk of fighters suffering injury during intense training camps, or cuts during rounds and rounds of sparring. There's as much chance of Haye getting cut in camp as there is of Wlad during a fight. What a weak excuse to make.

There's no reason Haye can't fight Wlad on July 2nd. There's no reason to suggest Wlad couldn't make that date. If the contract is signed the contract is signed.

So... Haye is saying that Wlad wanted to recognized as the Champion?

Haye's big beef is that Wlad wanted to come out second, be featured first, ect... just like the true Champion is supposed to be treated. Then... oh my god... Wlad doesn't want to just sit around until July and wants to take another fight in between? I am sure that is something very difficult for a guy like Haye to understand. Haye likes sitting around for 6 months, a year.... ect... Wlad wants to be active, especially already having a longer layoff than he wanted due to his last fight being called off with an injury.

Honestly, it's clear to me that David Haye doesn't want Wlad to have a tune up, because he wants him rusty coming off a huge layoff. It's the beginning of Jan... there is no need for Wald to wait to fight until July. Any true boxing fan that would complain about that is not a true fan at all. You can never bash a heavyweight Champion for being active.
