Stats Confirmation: Froch Was Winning Regardless

And I thought the U.S./U.K. pissing contest threads were goofy; now the plan is to rule on fights based on "control dominance" (which somehow includes "back pedaling" and "clinching"??).

Forch found his distance, because Taylor stopped pumping that strong-assed jab.

That is when the fight turned, when Taylor was too tired to even jab his way through a round.

 

Froch didnt land the eye catching punches and i had him down by three rounds, but a great finish, congratulations to Froch.

 

it wouldnt have been out of the realm if froch had won a decision.....a draw would have been acceptable...no way in hell was taylor up by like 4 rounds.....

OK. In the amateurs they score by white part of the glove, but not in the pros. It is round by round with a STRONG emphasis on "clean, effective punching". Go buy a clue.

 

I had him up by 4 plus the KD. I'll admit to bias and that was even watching it after the fact. KD's do affect subsequent rounds in the judges minds if the round is close. That is what I think I have observed though.

Besides, having him up by 4 was way less biased than the one judge that had Froch by 4. Some go out of their way for the OH. Shoot more judges? :think
