How high should your heels be off the ground when you get on your toes while boxing? I say mine comes off the ground around 2 inches. Is it best to literally lift your heels off the ground, or just put pressure into the balls of your feet?

To lift you heel off the floor - by doing that you have to be on the balls of your feet. How much depends on what's comfortable for the person

Depends on the situation and how you fight. If I wanted to keep pressure and forward movement while sitting down on my punches then I'll keep by front foot flat while putting my weight more on the back foot which is shifted to the ball of that foot. You shouldn't look like you're wearing invisible high heels but it should be noticeable that you're on the ball of your foot. Really don't overthink this it's not hard.

You really can't learn boxing online. I tried it for 2 years and got almost nowhere. Went into a gym and got 10x better the first week. A good coach gives attention to their fighters. Don't expect anyone to kiss your ass and tell you you look hot on the bag. They should be telling you you suck and pointing out how to fix your flaws. It's all on you to actually do it and practice it. When coach goes over a combination make sure that's what you're focused on and practice it until you hate it then practice it some more. Don't just do your own ****. You'll never get any good. Be coachable.
