    Struve stills throws strikes that he shouldn't be throwing and gets caught with strikes that he shouldn't be getting caught with.... Sigh.

    And with that Volkov drops Struve with an uppercut and follow up, but it almost looked like he went down from fatigue as much as being hurt. TKO Volkov inside 3.

    Struve became a punching bag after Goddard forced him to stop reaching out with the open palm. Tbf I'm surprised his shaky chin held up as long as it did.

    I think he gassed too with all of the unnecessary flying knees, uppercuts and other wild strikes. Poor fight IQ on display once again.. Volkov on the other hand stayed tight and rode out the storm until Struve was there to be taken.

    Funny I thought Volkov looked to be the more fatigued one for most of the fight. Struve just has no defense whatsoever. His footwork has always sucked, he backs up in straight lines with his chin in the air and in the pocket his only way to avoid the oncoming is to extend out his lead arm. He also has the terrible habit of when his back touches the cage he'll stand still and cover up instead of circling out, which leaves him fully exposed to hooks with the tiny gloves.

    His defense was poor like it always is... But he was definitely slowed to a crawl in the 3rd and I don't think it was just from the accumulative effect of the punches to the head.

    To be fair... Green is one of those incredibly negative and gritty wrestlers where it's almost impossible to look good again. I'd like to see Khabilov vs. Michael Johnson next.
