Frank was a genuinely tough guy and decent brawler who was outclassed by Larry's thumb. I doubt Tangstad can duplicate the retinal poke or out wrestle Frank in the clinches either.
Tangstad held wins over European greats Alfredo Evangelista, Lucien Rodriguez, and Joe Bugner, and held Buster Douglas to a draw. Frank held wins over title challengers Ron Stander, Chuck Wepner, and held once-beaten Renaldo Snipes to a draw. Being TKO'd in 5 by Larry Holmes > being TKO'd in 4 by Michael Spinks. I'm gonna go with Frank on this one.
